Maharashtra's Honor


'Namaskar Mandali ' This is my first ever blog. So to start with ,I choose some of the Maharashtra's Honors that we all must know! 
 I am going tell you guys about amazing peoples which are real superheroes of Maharashtra  State. 
Recently honorable president Mr.Ram nath kovind announced 119 'Padma awards'.
Among them 6 maharashrians were named as winners .
We are going to know what exactly this people has done which made them extraordinary persons .

padma awards 
1) rajnikant shroff: 
                                                                                                                                                         Mr.Rajnikant devidas shroff ,also known as Rajju shorff is an Indian businessperson and billionier, who is founder and chairman of UPL limited.he was ranked as the 93 richest person in India with a net worth of $1.5 billion. Government of India conferred him Padma bhushan award in 2021.He pioneered Red Phosphorus manufacturing in India by setting up UPL Limited in Mumbai in 1969.he is considered as the India's crop protecting king.                                         2) Pershuram Atmaram Gangavane :                         


Parshuram Atmaram Gangavane were awarded by 'Padmashri' .he is a propreator who has worked for the preservation of the Chitrakathi folk art . Chitrakathi storytelling is 500 year old art . As you can see in image the amazing art called Chitrakathi, it is made with natural colors. such beautiful folk atrs are really need to be conserved.                                                                                                

3)Namdev C Kamble :                                                 
Veteran author and teacher Namdev C Kamble is the only one from vidarbha to get Padmashri this year. Kambale known for his Sahitya Akademi Award winning fiction 'Raghav Vel' is a veteran nnot only in fiction and poetry ,but also in the field of critical and philosophycal writing. kamble ,who had been a teacher,journalist,orater and social worker is also a sensitive poet and a critic in Marathi literature.                  
4)Jaswantiben Jamnadas Popat : 

 We all are very known to 'LIJJAT PAPAD' ,the advertisement of two Bunnys. Jaswantiben Jamnadas Popat ,one of the founders of Shri Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Papad- a woman's cooperative involved in manufacturing fast moving consumer goods.she has been awarded by 'Padmashri' in the field of trade and industry.
   5) Girish Prabhune :                                                                                                                                                                                            


 Girish Prabhune winner of 'padma shri',who runs the Pimpari Chinchwad -besed Punaruttan Samarasata Gurukulam ,an NGO that works for the upliftment of chilrdren from Pardhi community.              Girish Prabhune is known as a famous social worker and Marathi writer based in pune, but not many would know how huge and highest of respect he commands from the nomadic tribes and comunities -especially the Pardhi tribe,which remains shackled by the stigma of being a thieving tribe. with a strong on ground connect but aloof from the media,glamour and attention,Girish Prabhune is one person who should have been conferred upon this prestigious award way back.                                                                                                                                                                          6)SOU.Sindhutai Sapkal :
                                                                                

  A well known as 'MAI',not only to Maharashtra but also to whole India.Sou. Sindhutai Sapkal also known as mother of orphans is an Indian social worker and social activist known particilarly for her work for rising orphan children.she has nurtured over 1500+ orphaned children.many of the children whom she adopted are well educated lawyers and doctors. one of her children is doing a PhD on her life.Really she is great roll model for youth.
